I think it is safe to say that it has been hard getting to this point! 20 hour days, mood boards, messy top knots, disagreements and loads of excitement! I think everyone underestimates how hard it is to start your own business, especially when you want to build a great foundation that will hold and help grow a business! Now add 2 people to the equation a full time mother and an estate agent that works 60hours a week! it has literally been blood, sweat and tears (on more than one occasion) we have learnt so much and have

been able to accomplish so much in such a short period of time. I studied Marketing communications and Bianca studied law, so we decided to combine our talents to build something! Beejo arose after we started researching different business ventures! I was constantly fighting with shops because they did not have what I wanted to dress my daughter in and I always knew the kind of things i wanted to put her in! I like dressing her a bit like me, just classic, clean and bouji! Then Bianca said "let's start a baby clothing line" you would be amazed to know that we only just decided this like 2 months ago! That night our conversation consisted of screen shots and a little market research and that just made me realise how much we needed to do this! Don't get me wrong there are places that do nice stuff for babies but they usually come with a hefty price tag which even I can not justify, especially when most of my daughters clothes get ruined! I wanted to make stuff which were perfect for everyday/special occasion! We quickly caught on to the "mini-me" trend and just went with it! Within days, Bianca had already organised the production aspect and I had already drawn out 25 designs, which we narrowed down and got the ball rolling! The name is a combination of both of our names, everyone called Bianca "B" and I'm ma"jo" (Maria Jose) so it started off as BIJO but then we changed it to BEEJO so we could incorporate bee's into the logo! So with bumps and tribulations down the road which is normal to face, we finally got here!

BeejoLDN is a new platform in my eyes, after having started this company I have researched so many boutiques which are either too out there or just the genetic dinosaur t-shirt or the floral baby bro! We plan on bringing something new to the market, we want to create our own platform!

Our spring/summer collection which we call "The nudes" is a very simple collection, we have combined amazing neutral colours with beautiful material and clean cut designs! Each design is named after our models and most of the collection is unisex! We really hope that you love it as much as we do!
